The Inox Tomcat model has a stainless steel slide and barrel with an exceptionally corrosion-resistant and durable gray-anodized frame to match the color and finish of the stainless components. I had a tomcat it was very accurate at close range for self defense situations. However I sold it for 300, It was in mint condition. I had feeding problems about everymag. Also, I read that the frames can crack on some models after many rounds. People reocommed the inox model to avoid the frame problems not sure why. All of the Inox (stainless) Tomcats have the Wide Slide, and I think the wide slide may have been phased in for at least some blued models also. I guess the idea was to slow the slide down by adding mass, and it's worked so-so. The proper fix would be to bring back the Titanium frame, or redesign the Aluminum frame. They are a bit fragile, being prone to frame cracking. My first one (an INOX) suffered a cracked frame after a few hundred rounds. Tip: the Tomcat is not rated for all 32 ACP ammo. Some of it is too hot (Fiocchi!). Beretta replaced the 1st one with a new one. They are fun guns. I tend to baby mine as they’re out of production, I believe.
